Penfold Live

We have Tim Searle to thank for this piece. He took a shine to our work and recommended us to CBBC when they wanted Penfold to make a live appearance.

Adobe Character Animator was identified as the best way to make live animation. But it being new to us, we brought in Julia Young as the expert.

She and Claire developed poses and expressions for Penfold to use and then worked with the team on the day.

We all got to meet Phil Fletcher and Hacker T Dog, which was great. Not everyone got to meet Kevin Eldon, which was a shame, but probably fortunate as Jon is a fanboy from his ‘Fist of Fun’ and ‘Black Book’ days.
